Was a lil but late this morning so I just didn't stretch no worries. The team did the newest version of the Dreammaker but I just jogged it cuz of Ragnar this weekend. Then jogged back. Weather was nice. S/o to.the baby sis cuz she's awesome.

Met at Lehi today, did the 3mile loop with the girls then got in some on the turf. Shout out to Thom, Austin, Michael (and me) for building a plank tower and to Zack for coming to our practice today

Slept over a bit and missed the warm up, the team did tempo today so I helped pace a group, it was 1.5 miles, the whole first mile was a gradual downhill and we came through at 6:45 then one of the girls started having a rough time so I slowed down and ran with her for encouragement. Felt really good, nice to shake out the legs a bit. Ice bath and two hour nap afterwards. Stoked for Ragnar.

Got to exchange 6 around 2:30ish. Checked on and such, and did .5 shakeout. Kinley handed off to me around 5 and was feeling great. So great that I had a 6:40 avg. pace so that's sick. My leg was supposed to only be 2.5miles but I didn't see the exchange zone and no one told me to stop so I got in an extra .7 (sorry Josh) but I was okay with that so no worries. It was pretty much way hot outside so shout out to the old man who sprayed me with his hose I greatly appreciated that

Leg 2: This was definitely my favorite leg. Got in about an hour and a half of solid sleep before Kinley handed off to me at midnight. First mile was on a pretty busy road but then it was on a pretty deserted one with lots of fields and hardly any houses. The stars and moon were super pretty and the weather was fantastic. My leg was mostly flat, a few baby uphills but nothing hard. I passed 25 people so that was fun cuz I always had someone to chase down.

Leg 3: This one was way rough. I didn't realize I was gonna have hills cuz total elevation gain was 170ft but man I was wrong. First mile was gorgeous on a nice trail with some good downhill through some trees. The rest was in a neighborhood and was a lot of steepish downhill then long uphill. But I can't complain too much since lots of people had way harder hills than me. Either way it was way harder than I expected and not all that pleasant.

Overall Ragnar was a blast! Shout out to my team for killing it you guys are super awesome!
