Mile warm up then 6×(400, 200) at indoor goal mile pace. 45sec rest between the 400 and 200 and 2min rest between each set. Splits ended up being 83, 41, 81, 41, 81, 41, 81, 40, 80, 40, 82, 40. Jamie ran with us today which was nice, she really helped with the pacing. Overall today I felt really strong mentally and physically despite being sore still from last week. I was able to stick up with the other girls which was good. Afterwards I cooled down a bit barefoot on the turf, which was quite a bit warmer than I though it would be so that was a bonus. |
