Mile warm up on the turf then the speed workout today was 2×(800, 600, 400, 200) the 8 and 6 were at goal two mile pace and the 4 and 2 were at goal mile pace, splits were 2:54, 2:09, 80, 40, 2:56, 2:15, 85, 36. I felt pretty good but my second 400 was way off base so I'm not pleased with that but overall I stayed in it mentally pretty much the whole time. I feel pretty good about it though and I'm getting pretty excited for races to start! Shout out to Mario for doing her first entire speed workout on the track with us this season, she kills it! |
