Pre meet so warmed up, 3 strides then 2×400 at mile pace with easy lap and full recovery between. Hit 81s which is a bit quick but that's allright, better fast than slow. Did some starts then cooled down a mile. Jamie did ran with which was great. Shout out to Kaylee for helping face off with the boys on the warm up today #youdon'tscareus and shout out to Asa for getting his mission call yesterday!!! Super stoked for tomorrow it should be good.

So I raced the mile this morning, mostly I just remember that we warmed up too early so I had to jog around a bit more. I raced in my tights but I definitely should've warn a shirt underneath because I got really cold. I couldn't get my arms or legs to move they were so stiff. Time was a 5:48 so pretty much super bad. I was disappointed but I tried to just kind of brush it off. Went home and watched the first conference session and took a nap. Came back and warmed up for the two mile. Was way warmer outside which felt really nice. Got out really well and was up near the front. First three laps were right on pace, and fourth was pretty much on pace. Then I let this girl get ahead of me I should've gone with her my time would've been much better. 6th and 7th lap were pretty rough but I got back on top of things for the last 800 and I pulled out a pretty good kick. The results say I DNS which is a bummer so this is the time Jamie got me at. So basically another match of my PR. I'm disappointed but I'm just gonna train really hard this next week and work on staying focused for those middle laps. On a side note I roasted Collin pretty good this morning so shout out to me for that ;) and shout out to everyone who raced today because you are all fantastic people :)

Ran with the Pops today hit some killer hills and some wind...but the weather was beautifully fantastic and it was a wonderful run. Also spring break is a plus.

Another easy distance today, I'm doing today's speed on Saturday cuz I wanted to check out some trails. Ran with my dad down this trail it led to a pretty sick river and it was very adventurous. I have to say Hurricane is a pretty cool place and I'm kinda sad to be home.

Headed to the MCT and warmed up a mile. Then did progression run, start at 1mile 60sec slower than 2mile pace, then 1mile 60sec slower than mile pace, 1mile 60sec slower than mile pace, and finish with .5mile all out. First two miles went really well, last one and a half not so much. Still I stayed pretty motivated, and I feel ok about it considering how tired my legs are and that I was alone. Shout out to my dad cuz he bought me a sick running tanktop, he's the best. And good luck to everyone racing at Arcadia this weekend you guys are gonna do great!

Worked 9-1 then got in some weights. Afterwards ran to the cemetery and did whistle hills. It wasn't as thrilling without other people there but I still got the distances I normally do so that's good. Got a new fridge and it's sick so that's a win!

Speed today, 2×600,500,400,300 at mile pace with 4min 3min 3min rest. It was not a good day. I couldn't hit any of my times and was super frustrated. My body just feels wrecked, I forgot to take my supplements this morning and I'm wondering if that had an effect on me. I guess I'll just have to learn from it and move on. Can't wait to see the team next week I'm missing you guys!

Warmed up a mile on the turf then 4×1000 at 2mile pace. Splits were 3:44 3:46 3:45 3:50. Last one I was having a hard time but when Jamie told me to surge up to her I did and then I held it so that was good. Overall I felt good about the workout and I feel ready for Saturday. Shout out to Jamie for running the workout with me since all the other girls did the mile workout!

Swim workout, 200wu then 10×(25lung buster, 50backstroke) 50aqua jog 150pull 50aqua jog 100pull and 50cool down. Kept it easy so that was good. Temple afterwards.

The girls were doing pre meet but I'm not racing till Saturday so I just ran alone. Did 3.5 then 5×150 build ups. Jogged between to make up mileage. Shout out to Connor cuz I saw him.by the railroad tracks. It was ultra windy today but not too cold thanks to my handy dandy windbreaker headband and gloves :) #beprepared

Ran a mile during Sports Med which was enjoyable. Pre meet today, hit an 85 on my first 400 so too fast, then 90 second lap so right on. It was insanely windy and it started snowing but I wasn't too cold so that's a win. Took a painfully cold ice bath but I'm really feelin good for tomorrow. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!

Well warmed up a mile and was feeling really good. But I guess I was mistaken. Started out first lap came in around an 88 so that was good. Second lap too slow I got stuck behind some girls. Got out and the next three laps were right on. Then a girl went ahead of me, I tried really hard to go with her ans for a while I did but then she pulled away. After that I died hard but I was there mentally so that may have been the most frustrating. I started to get pretty discouraged but.picked it back up for the last lap. Kick coulda been better but it was pretty good. Super disappointed with my time I felt ready to PR today and I'm running out of races. Idk I guess I'll just keep.working on the mental game and hopefully my body will catch up. Cooled down with Gan then I had to go do some Temple Walk thing with my ward, it hasn't been the.greatest of days but that's allright. Shout out to everyone who raced, especially you 800 kids.I heard some awesome things about your races!

Just medium mileage today. Pretty much just me and Watson, we headed towards AF Jr and ran through some neighborhoods we've never been in before so that was sick. Felt really good today. Pretty much chopped off all my hair just barely, jk it was just a trim but it sure feels short lol. Shout out to Watson for running with me and shout out to Denzil because he made me a pen!

Warmed up a mile on the turf then started the speed. 3×(4 400s) with four minutes rest between sets, first set at slower than mile pace 2:30rest, splits 85, 84, 85, 85 second set mile pace 2:45rest, splits 84 so that one was too slow but no worries we picked it up for a 81, 81, 81 last set faster than mile pace 3:00rest, splits 80, 79, 79, 80 shoulda gone faster that last one but.I definitely pushed it so don't worry. Afterwards cooled down a half mile on the turf and did some abs and stretching. Afterwards helped out with results at the Tri-Meet (sorry it didn't get updated the computer wasn't working) shout out to Connor for announcing again and to Austin for helping me write out the times! Nice job to everyone who raced today you guys killed it!

Headed out towards some reservoir but on account of my lower mileage I didn't make it clear out there. Had to stretch on the side of the road while I waited for the girls. It was hot today which was nice. The legs were pretty sore but that's allright.

Started out the day with a mile warm up then raced the mile. I felt good, and the pace felt good but that's because it was too slow. Got a 5:50 and I need a 5:48 for BYU so I'm frustrated that I didn't get that since I totally know I can. But that's allright, it was a bit windy which probably affected me as well. Next I raced the 3200m. I wasn't even sure I wanted to, it was pretty cold outside. But I did and I'm so glad. Kaylee was in my heat and for the first mile I just told myself that if I stuck with her I'd get a good time. Lap four some chick from Park City got into an elbow war with me cuz she was trying to cut in on the inside. I finally just let her go cuz she was not gonna stop. Lap five we got up behind this big group and I decided we needed Togo ahead so I did and Kaylee followed. From there we just worked together and finished off strong. I'm super pumped because it's an 8sec PR and my first one of the season. Its really nice to finally see some results! Took a nice long nap then ran the 4×800m. Can't say our time was super amazing or anything lol but it was a good time even in the rain. I love those girls with all my heart they are the best <3 Hottubbing at my house after which is always fun. Nice job to everyone who raced today I hope all your fingers and toes warm up soon :)

Jamie wanted some hills in today so me and Kaylee headed up to the Jr. High then left on 1200 and down airport through the cemetery and back. Saw the boys today and holy cow that pack was huge! Stretched out real nice and did 15min of abs. Ended up being warmer than I thought it would be so that's a win.

Filmed some thing for the senior video then did a mile warm up. Speed today 3×(300 200 100) at goal 800 pace. Splits: 56 36 17 53 34 17 55 34 16 a bit faster than needed but that's allright. I felt pretty good the whole time, legs were a bit sore and stomach was a lil buggy but I the workout still went well. Cooled down mostly with Kaylee. Cold and rainy and cold today.

Warmed up a mile with the girls and headed to the bull pen. I was in heat three so I watched the other girls race, they all killed it btw, then finally it was my turn. Weather was beautiful, a bit chilly but no wind or rain and I was prepared for both so that's a win. They split us into alleys but there were 30 girls in my heat so it was still super packed. Gun went off and I was in good position til everyone cut in. Then I basically had to go around everyone. Came through the first 400 at an 80 so too fast but I didn't worry about it. Settled in fourth behind a LP girl and just let her carry me through the second lap. Third lap we hit the two hundred and were too slow so I tried to pick it up. Apparently I didn't get much faster lol but I didn't slow down at all so that's good. Last lap my arms and legs felt so stiff like they could hardly move. I got passed by some people but I was literally trying so hard. Kick coulda been faster but I was definitely dead by the end. I'm super happy though cuz I'm qualified for BYU and that was the goal. And it's a PR for the season so hopefully an overall PR is just around the corner. Shout out to everyone who raced today nice job and good luck to everyone who hasn't yet! Proms tonight should be sick.
